Sinopsis
Una lámpara hecha en un taller familiar del conurbano aparece inesperadamente en Happy Together. La nieta de quien la fabricó sigue el recorrido de ese objeto entre la historia familiar y su viaje hasta el film de Wong Kar-wai.
A lamp made in a family workshop in the suburbs unexpectedly appears in Happy Together. The granddaughter of the person who made it traces the object's journey through family history and its journey to Wong Kar-wai's film.

“Ver un mundo en un grano de arena”, manifestaba William Blake, y a ese espíritu se afilia este documental en primera persona. De lo íntimo y familiar a la esencia estética de Wong Kar-wai, uno de los grandes sensualistas del cine de este siglo. La lámpara del título, forjada por el abuelo de la realizadora allá por los cincuenta, se termina erigiendo en metáfora y síntesis del amor condenado de los protagonistas que Wong exportó a Buenos Aires gracias a Manuel Puig. A partir de ese objeto kitsch y sublime se va tejiendo un viaje por tiempo y espacio, de una Argentina que ya no existe a una Hong Kong eterna. Atención a los cameos, no solo de figuras de la preservación cinematográfica local sino de artistas cuya generosidad trasciende la pantalla. Guido Segal
“To see a world in a grain of sand,” said William Blake, and this first-person documentary embraces that spirit. From the intimate and familiar to the aesthetic essence of Wong Kar-wai, one of the great sensualists of cinema this century. The lamp in the title, forged by the filmmaker's grandfather back in the 1950s, ends up becoming a metaphor and synthesis of the doomed love of the protagonists that Wong exported to Buenos Aires thanks to Manuel Puig. From this kitsch and sublime object, a journey through time and space is woven, from an Argentina that no longer exists to an eternal Hong Kong.
