Sinopsis

Entra a un hospital. Camina por un cementerio de trenes. Se observa a sí mismo. Entierra algo propio.

He enters a hospital. He walks through a train cemetery. He stares at himself. He buries something of his own.

(2002, San Juan, Argentina). Estudiante de Diseño de Imagen y Sonido en la UBA. Dirigió el cortometraje Nada habita (2023), seleccionado para el Festival Internacional de Cine de la UBA, y se dedica principalmente a la dirección y el diseño de sonido.

Hay rincones del cine que, al ensanchar sus magros pulmones, entienden que hay otra cosa diferente para aspirar en las partículas de siempre. Aquí la clave es salvaje gracias a sus texturas. Sí, alguien “entra a un hospital. Entierra algo suyo”. Y nada más. O mucho, o mejor dicho, en palabras de Edgar Allan Poe, “las costumbres del mundo son muchas locuras convencionales”. Acá todo parece convencional, hasta que, no tan despacio, adquiere un aire de pesadilla habitable, de hastío completamente adictivo, de sueños de Aphex Twin cuando se vuelve infernal. El grano de la imagen, la mutación del movimiento, la diversión de lo monstruoso que tan solo existe (y que no es explotado para sorprender). Ensayo2611 exhala un páramo de concreto tan fascinante como posible. Juan Manuel Dominguez

There are corners of cinema that, as they expand their meager lungs, understand that there is something different to aspire to in the usual particles. Here, the key is wild thanks to its textures. Yes, someone “enters a hospital. Buries something of theirs.” And that's it. Or rather, in the words of Edgar Allan Poe, “the customs of the world are so many conventional follies.” Here, everything seems conventional, until, not so slowly, it takes on an air of a livable nightmare, of completely addictive disgust, of Aphex Twin dreams when it becomes hellish. The grain of the image, the mutation of movement, the fun of the monstrous that simply exists (and is not exploited to surprise). Test2611exudes a concrete wasteland as fascinating as it is possible.
