Sinopsis

Bajo el sol ardiente del verano, Chloe, Jenny y Squeegee comparten un último helado en la heladería local. Una crónica poética sobre la amistad infantil, sus desafíos ante la adolescencia y sus primeras fracturas.

Under a blazing summer sky, Chloe, Jenny and Squeegee share one last ice cream at the local store. A poetic animated chronicle of childhood friendship, its challenges in the face of adolescence and its first fractures.

Sonidos llenos de texturas y una animación de línea inquieta que siempre busca hacia dónde mutar nos llevan a un verano en el que todo se derrite: los helados, el chicle bajo los zapatos, el perrito Squeegee, su humana Chloe y, a los ojos de ella, la relación con su mejor amiga Jenny. La temporada antes de terminar cualquier etapa siempre es extraña. Nada sabe como debería, y no importa bajo qué sombra te ocultes, todo se siente incómodo y pegajoso. En las vísperas de comenzar el secundario, Chloe lucha por que ciertas cosas de esta vieja etapa no terminen, incluso aunque ya no se sientan bien para ella, como un helado hace ya tiempo derretido que perdió su sabor, y que de todas formas, para empezar, nunca había sido tan rico. Sounds full of textures and a restless-stroke animation that always looks for where to mutate take us to a summer in which everything melts: the ice cream, the gum under the shoes, the puppy Squeegee, her human Chloe and, in her eyes, the relationship with her best friend Jenny. The season before the end of any stage is always strange. Nothing tastes the way it should, and no matter what shade you hide under, everything feels awkward and sticky. On the eve of starting high school, Chloe struggles to keep certain things from this old stage from ending, even if they no longer feel right for her, like a long-melted ice cream that's long since lost its flavor, and never tasted so good to begin with anyway.
