Sinopsis
Rodar tres películas en diez días, saltar la banca, financiar su propio cine, viajar por el mundo, filmar películas XXX. Las diez vidas vividas por Gonzalo García-Pelayo no se pueden narrar en ocho minutos, pero el intento es fiel a su espíritu: a lo loco.
Shooting three films in ten days, breaking the bank, financing his own cinema, traveling the world, filming XXX movies. The ten lives lived by Gonzalo García Pelayo cannot be recounted in eight minutes, but the attempt is true to his spirit: wild.

Estudió en la Escuela de Cine de Chubut y cursa en la Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica. En 2025 fue seleccionada en el concurso Raymundo Gleyzer con su proyecto Fugitivos en la Patagonia.
She studied at the Chubut Film School and is currently studying at the National School of Film Experimentation and Production. In 2025, she was selected at the Raymundo Gleyzer competition with her project Fugitivos en la Patagonia.

Gonzalo García-Pelayo es una de las figuras más singulares de la cultura española: cineasta, productor musical y pensador autodidacta, en los años 90 se dedicó a hacer fortuna jugando a la ruleta por los casinos del mundo para poder financiar sus películas. Pelayo enfrenta su extensa filmografía con la temeridad con la que se enfrenta al juego: desde una lógica probabilística, convencido de que es más posible hacer una buena película intentando diez veces que una sola. Pelayo dice que su objetivo es “que la vida entre por la cámara; no ir a buscar la vida, sino esperar que la vida venga”. En este breve pero atrevido retrato documental, Candela Momo Hualpa se propone seguir la máxima pelayiana con ingenio y humor. Ignacio Barrado
Gonzalo García-Pelayo is one of the most unique figures in Spanish culture: a filmmaker, music producer, and self-taught thinker, in the 1990s he devoted himself to making his fortune playing roulette in casinos around the world in order to finance his films. Pelayo approaches his extensive filmography with the same recklessness with which he approaches gambling: from a probabilistic logic, convinced that it is more likely to make a good film by trying ten times than by trying just once. Pelayo says that his goal is “to let life enter the camera; not to go out and look for life, but to wait for life to come.” In this brief but daring documentary portrait, Candela Momo Hualpa sets out to follow Pelayo's maxim with wit and humor.
