Retrato del vínculo entre una bisnieta cineasta y su bisabuela, la fotógrafa Annemarie Heinrich. A través de esa relación, Mariana explora una obsesión compartida: qué significa retratar y revelar a alguien.

A portrait of the bond between a filmmaker great-granddaughter and her great-grandmother, photographer Annemarie Heinrich. Through this relationship, Mariana explores a shared obsession: what it means to portray and reveal someone.

(1995, Buenos Aires, Argentina). Directora, guionista y actriz. Sus cortos Antes de irme (2017) y Tan perdida como convencida (Bafici ‘21) se presentaron en Rotterdam, Nueva York y Valdivia. Su último corto La necesidad de un testigo (2023) obtuvo una Mención del Jurado en Mar del Plata.

(1995, Buenos Aires, Argentina). A director, screenwriter, and actress. Her short films All Over the Place (2017) and As Lost as Convinced (Bafici '21) were screened in Rotterdam, New York, and Valdivia. Her latest short film, The Need of a Witness (2023), received a Jury Mention at Mar del Plata.

Annemarie es un retrato y una celebración de la gran fotógrafa Annemarie Heinrich. Sus fotos que se han convertido en clásicos capaces de vencer al tiempo, su arte como espejo de la Argentina, su vida y obra premiadas: todo está contenido en este documental de gran lucidez y amabilidad con su personaje. Todos y todo parece haber estado para ser fotografiado por Annemarie, como si su cámara hubiera inventado una parte importante de la historia reciente del país. Varios famosos desfilan por la pantalla; la fotógrafa es también objeto a retratar por los demás, que recuerdan momentos icónicos, acontecimientos y situaciones mínimas. Annemarie is a portrait and celebration of the great photographer Annemarie Heinrich. Her photos, which have become timeless classics, her art as a mirror of Argentina, her award-winning life and work: all of this is contained in this documentary, which is both lucid and kind to its subject. Everyone and everything seems to have been there to be photographed by Annemarie, as if her camera had invented an important part of the country's recent history. Several celebrities parade across the screen; the photographer is also the subject of portraits by others, who recall iconic moments, events, and minor situations.
