Sinopsis
Alicia está obsesionada: se le ha metido en la cabeza que es aburrida, o que todo lo es. La seguimos mientras se prepara para un casting, evalúa anotarse en un curso y duda si ir o no a una fiesta.
Alicia has developed a fixation: she has convinced herself that she is boring, or that everything is. We follow her as she gets ready for an audition, contemplates taking a course and tries to figure out if she should go to a party or not.

(1976, España). Desde 2002 dirigió varios cortos y largos de ficción, ensayo y documental, considerados representativos del Novo Cinema Galego. Fue cofundador y director durante cinco años del Festival Novos Cinemas (2015-2019). Participó como jurado en festivales internacionales como FICX y FICUNAM.

Reseña / Review
La película comienza con unos hermosos planos de Vigo que captan la quietud del paisaje e introducen el paseo de las dos jóvenes que nos presenta la historia. Alicia es una chica de 25 años que aspira a ser actriz, aunque no sabe muy bien qué hacer mientras tanto. El dilema existencial es filmado con la ligereza de un cuento moral: el vértigo de la protagonista ante el deseo de interpretar se funde de un modo placentero en la conversación con un amigo. Santos ofrece un relato de gran libertad donde conviven una extraordinaria escena narrada por un tema punk con otra en que un profesor reflexiona sobre el aburrimiento con ideas de filósofos y monjes medievales. Sobre el final, volverán los planos de la ciudad vacía, evocando las huellas de lo ausente con una inquietante belleza. Aníbal Perotti
The film begins with beautiful shots of Vigo that capture the tranquility of the landscape and introduce the two young women who are the protagonists of the story. Alicia is a 25-year-old girl who aspires to be an actress, although she is not quite sure what to do in the meantime. Her existential dilemma is filmed with the lightness of a moral tale: the protagonist's vertigo at the desire to act merges pleasantly into a conversation with a friend. Santos offers a story of great freedom, where an extraordinary scene narrated by a punk rock song coexists with another in which a teacher reflects on boredom with ideas from philosophers and medieval monks. Towards the end, the shots of the empty city return, evoking the traces of the absent with disturbing beauty. AP
