Sinopsis

Tras la muerte de su padre, la vida de Marcos se desborda. Una prótesis heredada, imposible de cremar, concentra su obsesión y lo aleja de su pareja, hasta empujarlo a tomar una decisión.

After his father's death, Marcos's life spirals out of control. An inherited prosthesis, impossible to cremate, becomes the focus of his obsession and drives him away from his partner, until he is forced to make a decision.

Actor y director. Se graduó como realizador cinematográfico en la ENERC. Dirigió el cortometraje documental Tu padre que te quiere (Competencia Oficial Argentina del Bafici ‘25). Actualmente trabaja en el equipo de producción del Teatro San Martín.

An actor and director. He graduated as a film director from ENERC. He directed the short documentary Your Loving Father (Official Argentine Competition at Bafici '25). He currently works on the production team at the San Martín Theater.

Un brazo es una de esas comedias que hacen de las desventuras del cuerpo su asunto. El horror de la materia tiene también su costado ridículo, que llama al espanto o a la risa. Con un tempo cómico fenomenal, este corto es además un modelo de precisión actoral. La estupefacción frente a un escenario en el que todo parece fuera de lugar —lo que está dislocado, suelto, lo que no encaja, lo que no se sabe a dónde corresponde— tiene esta vez imágenes a su altura. Imágenes veloces, aunque no atropelladas, a metros de distancia nomás (en realidad a brazos) del delirio, pero sin perderse nunca en él. La palabra es absurdo. One Arm is one of those comedies that make the misadventures of the body their subject matter. The horror of matter also has its ridiculous side, which provokes either fear or laughter. With phenomenal comic timing, this short film is also a model of acting precision. The astonishment at a scene in which everything seems out of place—what is dislocated, loose, what does not fit, what one does not know where it belongs—is matched this time by images that are equally impressive. Fast-paced images, though not rushed, just a few feet away (actually an arm's length) from delirium, but without ever getting lost in it. Absurd is the word. There is something that shouldn't be there; a part of someone who has just died. An unexpected event that reminds us that the obstinacy of objects is not easily tempered. DO
