Señora bien cuenta la historia de un personaje lapidado por el cine argentino: la mujer de clase alta. La protagonista espera con impaciencia que una empleada le envuelva el regalo que acaba de comprar. En el cumpleaños se la ve inquieta, fuera de sí: la gritería de las amigas la abruma. La mujer no aguanta más y se vuelve a su casa en un taxi que atraviesa una ciudad colapsada. Carrizo filma los rostros muy de cerca, impúdicamente, hasta extraer de ellos el pulso neurótico de una comedia urbana, la fibra de una gerontología marciana. Fine Lady tells the story of a type of a character that has been oft-reviled by Argentine cinema: the upper-class woman. The protagonist waits impatiently for an employee to wrap the gift she has just bought. During the birthday she is restless, agitated: she is overwhelmed by her friends' shouting. The woman can't stand it any longer and returns home in a cab that crosses a collapsed city. Carrizo shoots the faces from a very close distance, impudently, until he extracts from them the neurotic pulse of an urban comedy, the fiber of a Martian gerontology.
