Sinopsis
En medio de una crisis económica, Daniela, sonidista de un centro cultural al borde del cierre, encuentra en la nueva escena hardcore punk del under una forma de resistencia y decide registrarla antes de que desaparezca.
In the midst of an economic crisis, Daniela, a sound engineer at a cultural center on the verge of closing, finds a form of resistance in the new underground hardcore punk scene and decides to make a record of it before it disappears.

Nahuel Ugazio
(1984, Ciudadela, Argentina). Estudió Artes Audiovisuales en la UNA. Formó parte, junto a Rosario Bléfari y Romina Zanellato, de Los Cartógrafos. Realizó el corto El arte musical (Festival de Mar de Plata 2020), sobre la grabación del último disco solista de Rosario Bléfari. Da clases en Más Corazón que Odio, su taller de cine.

He made the short film El arte musical (Mar del Plata Film Festival 2020), about the recording of Rosario Bléfari's last solo album. He teaches at Más Corazón que Odio, his film workshop.

El hilo conductor de Por amor seguiremos es la historia de la sonidista de un centro cultural que es epicentro de una movida musical indie y hardcore, el relato mínimo de una piba precarizada en tiempos aciagos para la cultura, pero la película está al límite de la docuficción. Es que a las escenas actuadas se las acompaña con pasajes de bandas tocando, filmadas en planos cortos, desde el corazón mismo del pogo, y con entrevistas a distintos jóvenes que son parte de la movida, filmadas en nostálgico Mini DV. En las entrevistas sobrevuela la pregunta por la felicidad, cuando la crisis socioeconómica la hace impensable. Sin ningún derroche de candidez, la respuesta se encuentra en el gesto heroico de armar un recital, escribir un fanzine, producir un disco o, claro, filmar una película. Ignacio Barrado
The central theme of Por amor seguiremos is the story of a sound engineer at a cultural center that is the epicenter of an indie and hardcore music scene, the minimalist tale of a young woman struggling in difficult times for culture, but the film borders on docufiction. The acted scenes are accompanied by passages of bands playing, filmed in close-ups from the heart of the mosh pit, and interviews with different young people who are part of the scene, filmed in nostalgic Mini DV. The interviews are permeated by the question of happiness, when the socioeconomic crisis makes it unthinkable. Without any naivety, the answer is found in the heroic gesture of putting together a concert, writing a fanzine, producing an album or, of course, making a film. IB
