A través de la mirada de tres niñeras y otros testimonios, exploramos el trabajo de las cuidadoras, un oficio a menudo menospreciado y precarizado, que va mucho más allá de solo cuidar a alguien.

Through the eyes of three nannies and other testimonies, we explore the work of caregivers, an often undervalued and underpaid profession that goes far beyond just taking care of someone.

Egresada de la carrera de Realización Cinematográfica de la ENERC y estudiante de Diseño de Imagen y Sonido en la UBA. Dirigió cortos estudiantiles y trabajó como asistente de dirección.

Reseña / Review

Un documental pequeño, concentrado, que hace de la brevedad no solamente virtud sino además forma y ritmo, acerca de –así dicen– niñeras, una palabra que no deja de sonar extraña. Notas sobre querer al paso es un documental sobre gente que trabaja cuidando hijos de otros, y que además consigue reflexionar sobre el cuidado y sus implicancias: la relación de cuidado y cómo eso cambia al cuidado y al cuidador, y cómo eso puede potenciarse hasta emociones importantes. Dice el proverbio africano que “se necesita una aldea para criar a un niño” –la diversidad de la comunidad–, y este cortometraje cree, desde el comienzo y con criterio, en el valor de las diversas miradas para hablar sobre el trabajo y sobre criar niños. A small, concentrated documentary, which makes brevity not only a virtue but also a form and pace, about so-called nannies, a word that never ceases to sound strange. Notes on Loving on the Go is a documentary about people who work taking care of other people's children, and that also manages to reflect on care and its implications: the relationship of care and how it changes the caregiver and the one being cared for, and how this can be strengthened to the point of important emotions. The African proverb says that “it takes a village to raise a child” -the diversity of the community-, and this short film believes, from the beginning and with criterion, in the value of diverse views to talk about work and raising children.
