Sinopsis

Tomás y Agustín se dedican a distintas disciplinas de sanación: Tomás trabaja en cuidados paliativos y Agustín en biodecodificación. Un viaje al sur de Argentina, donde Tomás correrá 120 km y Agustín lo fotografiará, se transforma en una oportunidad para sanar su relación y enfrentar sus conflictos.

Tomás and Agustín are dedicated to different healing disciplines: Tomás works in palliative care and Agustín in biodecoding. A trip to the south of Argentina, where Tomás will run 120 km and Agustín will photograph him, becomes an opportunity to heal their relationship and face their conflicts.

(1970, Quilmes, Argentina). Estudió en la Escuela de Cine de Avellaneda y en la ENERC. Produjo y dirigió varios films, entre ellos, Vladimir en Buenos Aires (2002), Los cuerpos dóciles (2014), y Pabellón 4 (2017), donde hizo también cámara y fotografía.

Una historia de hermanos puede contarse de muchas formas, pero no siempre los hermanos pueden mirarse en espejo como los que protagonizan esta película singular. Está el hermano súper profesional, el que ha hecho una carrera y formado una familia de esas que parecen rozar la perfección. Y está el otro hermano, el que nadie sabe a qué se dedica, no porque no tenga una ocupación sino porque su camino es otro, distinto del que en principio señalaban los mandatos familiares. La película no toma partido; Agustín y Tomás han elegido sus vidas, se quieren a la distancia, como estrellas lejanas que habitan una misma constelación: Los Lagos, la historia de los hermanos Lagos, se sigue con el apasionamiento que corresponde a un misterio en escala humana, demasiado humana. A story of siblings can be told in many ways, but siblings can't always look at each other in a mirror like the ones in this unique film. There is the super-professional brother, who has made a career and formed a family that seems to border on perfection. And then there is the other brother, the one who nobody knows what he does for a living, not because he doesn't have an occupation but because his path is different from what the family mandates indicated. The film does not take sides; Agustín and Tomás have chosen their lives, they love each other from a distance, like distant stars that inhabit the same constellation: one follows The Lagos, the story of the Lagos brothers, with the passion that corresponds to a mystery on a human scale, all too human.
