Sinopsis

Lucie, de 9 años, llega a Bectoile para pasar las vacaciones mientras su madre dirige una excavación arqueológica. Con la ayuda de un nuevo amigo y dos extraños pájaros cantores, se embarca en una aventura que la acerca a un antiguo secreto familiar.

9-year-old Lucie arrives at Bectoile for the vacations,while her mother leads an archaeological dig. With the help of a new friend and two strange songbirds, she embarks on an adventure that brings her closer to an ancient family secret.

Trabajó en las primeras producciones realizadas por el estudio Folimage. Tras formarse con directores como Michel Ocelot, coescribió los guiones de Lluvia de gatos y ranas y Mia y los Migou de JR. Girerd. Codirigió Cuatro estaciones de León, con marionetas.

He worked on the first productions from Folimage studio. After being trained by such directors as Michel Ocelot, he co-wrote JR. Girerd’s Raining Cats and Frogs and Mia and the Migou. He co-directed Four seasons of Leon, with puppets.

Ah, los relatos de veranos infinitos que son demasiado cortos y que, por supuesto, tienen secretos. Le Secret des mésanges, de Antoine Lanciaux, aprovecha esa búsqueda infantil, esa impaciencia por crecer y aprender, para crear una aventura delicada, que vuelve maravilla la vida en la naturaleza y también la construcción de la memoria. La animación, hecha en papel recortado, genera la calidez lúdica desde una artesanía que se siente, como el verano, tangible y viva. Hay texturas, bosques y pasadizos; hay misterio, posibilidad de maravilla y pares. Y aparece el laberinto brillante y conmovedor que puede ser la historia de la propia familia, el saberse historia. Ah, the stories of endless summers that are too short and, of course, hold secrets. Antoine Lanciaux's The Songbird's Secret draws on that childlike quest, that eagerness to grow up and learn, to create a delicate adventure that turns life in nature and the construction of memory into wonder. The animation, made with cut-out paper, generates a playful warmth from a craftsmanship that feels, like summer, tangible and alive. There are textures, forests, and passageways; there is mystery, the possibility of wonder and companions. And there appears the brilliant and moving maze that can be the hisstory of one's own family, the knowledge of being history. All this is told without solemnity, with a poetry that makes the curious gaze the most earthly of magics. JMD
