Sinopsis

Miguel, un joven treintañero que arrastra un reciente desengaño sentimental, recibe el encargo de viajar a su ciudad natal para registrar en video las localizaciones de una película.
Miguel, a young man in his thirties who is still reeling from a recent romantic disappointment, is asked to travel to his hometown to record the locations for a film.

(1976, España). Desde 2002 dirigió varios cortos y largos de ficción, ensayo y documental, considerados representativos del Novo Cinema Galego. Fue cofundador y director durante cinco años del Festival Novos Cinemas (2015-2019). Participó como jurado en festivales internacionales como FICX y FICUNAM.

He co-founded and directed Novos Cinemas Film Festival (2015-2019). He also has been part of international juries at festivals like FICX or FICUNAM. 
Miguel regresa a su Pontevedra natal en busca de locaciones para una película ajena. El protagonista se siente desubicado y abatido al volver a caminar por la ciudad en la que creció, hablar con un viejo amigo o dar un beso a destiempo. La cámara sigue su vagabundeo entre lugares abandonados y derruidos. El encanto y la belleza de un travelling circular que da dos vueltas completas en la habitación en la que está tocando el grupo de rock contagia de cierta energía al protagonista. El plano secuencia que sigue a Miguel y Mónica por los jardines de una casa de campo parece guiado por los cambios de tono en la conversación y por los trazos de luz. Una puesta en escena elegante, sencilla y sugerente que, en el final, nos permite imaginar la esperanza en un hermoso plano compartido. Aníbal Perotti
Miguel returns to his native Pontevedra in search of locations for someone else's film. The protagonist feels out of place and dejected as he walks through the city where he grew up, talks to an old friend, or gives an ill-timed kiss. The camera follows his wanderings through abandoned and dilapidated places. The charm and beauty of a circular tracking shot that makes two complete turns in the room where the rock band is playing infects the protagonist with a certain energy. The long take that follows Miguel and Mónica through the gardens of a country house seems guided by the changes in tone in the conversation and by the streaks of light. An elegant, simple, and suggestive mise-en-scène that, in the end, allows us to imagine hope in a beautiful shared shot. AP
