Sinopsis

A través de material documental inédito, testimonios de sobrevivientes y reflexiones de especialistas, este documental aborda el brutal ataque perpetrado el 7 de octubre del 2023 por el grupo terrorista Hamás en el sur de Israel.

Through previously unseen documentary material, testimonies from survivors and reflections from specialists, this documentary deals with the brutal attack perpetrated on October 7, 2023 by the terrorist group Hamas in the south of Israel.

El título alude a la fecha fatídica en la que el grupo terrorista Hamás ingresa en territorio israelí. No faltan en la película algunas imágenes tremebundas, varias de ellas tomadas por los propios perpetradores, pero dentro de la angustia imposible que sobrevuela cada escena, 7.10 ofrece una variedad de momentos de gran equilibrio entre la emoción contenida y el orgullo de los sobrevivientes al ataque. Testimonios de los que lograron escapar de la masacre, terroristas capturados –jóvenes vencidos, estupefactos, casi catatónicos– y familiares que claman aún por los secuestrados forman un conjunto ajeno a maniobras proselitistas que el horror ineludible del asunto no necesita. The title refers to the fateful date on which terrorist group Hamas entered Israeli territory. The film has its share of terrifying images, several of them taken by the perpetrators themselves, but despite the impossible anguish that hangs over every scene, 7.10 offers a variety of moments that strike a fine balance between restrained emotion and the pride of the survivors of the attack. Testimonies from those who managed to escape the massacre, captured terrorists -defeated, stunned, almost catatonic young people- and relatives who are still pleading for the kidnapped form a whole that is far removed from the proselytizing maneuvers that the inescapable horror of the matter does not need.
