Sin embargo, ya desde ese momento La idiocracia logró la más resplandeciente victoria: ser la comedia fundamental de su época y de los tiempos por venir (tanto es así que los dos comentarios más escuchados acerca de la película es que se ha convertido en un documental, y que no hubo que esperar 500 años). La comedia más lúcida, la más corrosiva, la más clarividente. Alguien podría decir que solo había que saber mirar y sacar cuentas; sí, pero lo hizo (cine) el impar Mike Judge. However, even then, Idiocracy achieved the most resounding victory: it became the definitive comedy of its era and of times to come (so much so that the two most common comments about the film are that it has become a documentary and that we didn't have to wait 500 years). The most lucid, the most corrosive, the most clairvoyant comedy.
