Sinopsis

Malu se desmorona por traumas del pasado y un hijx rebelde. Cuando una extraña maldición convierte los inodoros en monstruos letales, queda atrapada en una pesadilla surreal donde maternidad, duelo y terror existencial no pueden simplemente descargarse.

Malu is cracking due to the weight of past trauma and a rebellious child. When a strange curse turns toilets into deadly monsters, she is hurled into a surreal nightmare in which motherhood, grief and existential terror can't simply be flushed away.

Vinagre estudió Literatura en la USP (Brasil) y Guion en la EICTV (Cuba). Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran Vil, má y Tres tigres tristes, estrenadas en Berlinale. Gewdner se inició en la escena underground brasileña con performances escatológicas-dadaístas antimusicales. Sus películas fueron exhibidas en Sitges y Rotterdam, entre otros.

Vinagre studied Literature at USP (Brazil) and Screenwriting at EICTV (Cuba). His works include Vil, má and Três Tigres Tristes, which premiered at the Berlinale. Gewdner began his career in the Brazilian underground scene with scatological-Dadaist anti-music performances. His films have screened at Sitges, Rotterdam, and Karlovy Vary.

Dice el Feng Shui que hay que dejar siempre baja la tapa del inodoro. ¿Y qué tiene que ver esto con un festival de cine independiente?, se preguntarán. La respuesta la encontrarán en esta disparatada “comedia” brasileña que, en la mejor tradición de películas de género y bajo presupuesto con niveles escatológicos y de gore que crecen minuto a minuto, cumple con todo lo que se espera de una historia donde una maldición afecta a un edificio entero, el baby shower de una influencer sale muy mal y una madre no acepta el destino de sus hijos. You'll find the answer in this crazy Brazilian “comedy” which, in the best tradition of low-budget genre films with levels of scatology and gore that increase by the minute, delivers everything you'd expect from a story in which a curse affects an entire building, an influencer's baby shower goes terribly wrong and a mother refuses to accept her children's fate.
