La película se inscribe en la serie de García-Pelayo llamada Niñas, salvo que esta vez la palabra es un agregado al título, acaso para indicar que se trata de una de las películas que el director llama “blancas”. En todo caso, hacía mucho que no se sentía de un modo tan contundente esa suerte de inocencia edénica impresa en cada fotograma. Las chicas, casi todas adolescentes, hablan a cámara, se explican, comparten cuitas y aspiraciones con ingenuo desparpajo, como si el futuro les perteneciera. Un feliz plano general las muestra al comienzo en campo abierto, con la algarabía de la manada antes del momento crucial de la individuación propia de la edad adulta. El director ofrece un retrato coral canturreado bellamente, un estudio de sueños confeccionado con toda la delicadeza y la verdad del mundo. David Obarrio

The film is part of García-Pelayo's series called Girls, except that this time the word is an annex to the title, perhaps to indicate that it is one of the films that the director calls “white.” In any case, it had been a long time since such a powerful sense of Edenic innocence had been imprinted on every frame.
