Bienvenidos a la improbable cruza entre Hora de aventuras y Jan Švankmajer: un corto que aprovecha el dibujo 2D desde su sorpresa intencional y explora el stop-motion como la más posible de las imposibles realidades fotográficas. Janka Feiner sigue el fuego de las travesuras de un niño y su caótico —e inflamable— amigo. En esa fusión de estilos, la noche de fechorías adquiere la magia de lo inesperado, de ese cine donde cada plano vale su peso en imaginación. Sí, hay unaa moraleja sobre la responsabilidad, pero también hay —como diría la propia directora— “un sentido de materialidad; los procesos manuales y la ‘estética del error’ son esenciales para mí: son lo que hace que la animación se sienta verdaderamente viva”. Welcome to the unlikely crossover between Adventure Time and Jan Švankmajer: a short film that takes advantage of 2D animation from its intentional surprise and explores stop-motion as the most possible of impossible photographic realities. Janka Feiner follows the fire of a child's mischief and his chaotic—and flammable—friend. In this fusion of styles, the night of mischief takes on the magic of the unexpected, of cinema where every shot is worth its weight in imagination. Yes, there is a moral about responsibility, but there is also—as the director herself would say—“a sense of materiality; manual processes and the ‘aesthetics of error’ are essential to me: they are what make animation feel truly alive.” And in that conviction, the short film finds its most enduring spark.
