Sinopsis

Esta película explora la percepción de Lisandro, un joven de 16 años que está dentro del espectro autista. Su madre, Valentina, actriz, lo ha criado entre backstages y camarines. ¿Existe para él alguna diferencia entre la realidad y la ficción?

This film explores the perception of Lisandro, a 16-year-old boy who is on the autistic spectrum. His mother, Valentina, an actress, has raised him between backstages and dressing rooms. Is there any difference for him between reality and fiction?

Ulises Rosell

(1970, Buenos Aires, Argentina). Estudió Comunicación en la UBA y dirección de cine en la FUC. Entre sus largometrajes se destacan El etnógrafo (Bafici ‘12), López (Bafici ‘21) y El futuro (Bafici ‘22).

Ulises Rosell decide contar instantes de un mundo cercano. Se trata del mundo de su hijo Lisandro, diagnosticado con un trastorno de espectro autista, y, sobre todo, de los continentes cotidianos que han armado con la madre de él, la actriz Valentina Bassi. Los momentos se suman: esperas, marchas, instantes en casa o lejos del hogar, y Rosell (re)construye con corazón y con una distancia entre quirúrgica y sentida (tanto para con los suyos como para con el cine y su ética). Ella trabaja, él espera; alguien debe cuidarlo, alguien sin experiencia, y ellos juegan en el Teatro Colón: no hay romanticismo, hay una política del cotidiano, desde la preparación con aceite de cannabis hasta las charlas con la abuela. Ulises Rosell decides to recount moments of a world close to him. It is the world of his son Lisandro, diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, and, above all, the everyday continents they have built with his mother, actress Valentina Bassi. The moments add up: waits, walks, moments at home or far from home, and Rosell (re)constructs them with love as well as a distance between the surgical and the heartfelt (both for his own and for film and its ethics). She works, he waits; someone must take care of him, someone inexperienced, and they play at the Colón theater: there is no romanticism, there is a politics of the everyday, from the preparation with cannabis oil to the talks with his grandmother.
